Huge thanks to everyone who has already logged on and updated their attendance.  This includes ALL the Tenors, so they win the Joss Loveday Prize for Keenness.

Here is a handy little report which any choir member can see, showing you the availability for the 11th Jan rehearsal.  If you want your name to appear in the top row then go to the main member login page and fill in your availability on the right, or down the bottom if you are using your phone.  If you have forgotten your username/password then there is a button on the login page to have it reset.

The 2021 Amici Cantate tour to Ireland is 26th to 29th March !!!!

50 of us have signed up to travel to Kerry, most arriving at Kerry Airport on FR701 around 3.40 pm whereupon a Kerry Coaches 49-seater will be waiting to drive to the Lansdowne Arms Hotel in Kenmare (60 kilometres by larger roads)  You will travel past Killarney and catch sight of MacGillycuddy's Reeks, the highest mountain range in Ireland.

Arrival at the hotel estimated around 5.15 - 6 pm where you can have a wander around town and maybe try out some of the local brews at a variety of bars, all within very convenient walking distance.  Dinner on Friday will be served at the hotel and is included in our booking.
Saturday morning will be free for walking around town or south to the pier or through Reenagross Park along the river estuary.

The Park Hotel across the road has lovely grounds.  Just don't all go there at once!  The bridge at the mouth of the river links the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara to the south.

There are numerous shops, galleries, craft and gift shops, coffee bars, restaurants, pubs etc etc in town.  The natives are very friendly.  There will also be numbers of tourists.  Carry around a few fliers to publicise our concert and tell them about it.

We will have a rehearsal and concert on Saturday at St Patrick's church, a short walk from the hotel so people can return in between for changing and comfort breaks (time to be confirmed.)  We will be joined by the South Kerry Rosen choir (small in number) for some parts of the concerts

On Sunday you have a free morning and then a pickup at 2 pm for a scenic drive along the south section of the Ring of Kerry.
A short afternoon rehearsal will be in St Michael's church in Sneem followed by a concert at 5 pm.

Returning to Kenmare by 8 pm and a possible evening get-together (still in planning stages)

Breakfast in the hotel Monday morning with a 10 am pickup for a leisurely drive via Moll's Gap on a winding road which passes above the Killarney lakes, pulling in for viewpionts and photo opportunities.  Stopoff at Torc waterfall and then some time to explore Killarney and have coffee or snacks prior to arrival back at Kerry airport before 3 pm so there is time for those who need to check in luggage for the flight home - FR702
